Could this have been a ghost?

okay a few years ago before i started to sleep with my bedroom door close i use to freak out because i would see a human figure at my door and it sometime looked like a hand reaching for the door nob. also i used to hear my "moms" voice calling my name and i would holler back what no answer so i got up to see what my mom wanted and she said she didn't call me and i went back to what i was doing then i heard a voice calling my name but it this time it sounded like my dad so i went to him asked him what he needed he said he didn't call me so i wen to ask my mom if it was her and it wasn't and that's about the time i thought this is weird so went back to what i was doing. i heard the voice a few times at night and my mother heard the voice 1 time when she went to check on me at night like she always did when i was younger. she told me this the next morning. she said that it scared her because it sounded like her. eventually the voice went away and so did the shadows. it just recently been on my mind a lot so i want to know if anyone could tell me what could have done this.
