So what is wrong here? Tell me in your own words what's wrong when my parents fight?

It always amazes me when I hear anther person tell a story of their lives that is so similar to mine . So I can speak about this very serious problem with experience . I do hate to be the bearer of bad news but your only hope is to get out of that hell by any means you can . I know all to well that you don't want to leave your mother and home but for your own sanity you must . To give you a little insight on why your mother stays and puts up with all the stuff your father puts you all through you only need to educate yourself on codependency . That is what not only your mom suffers from but you and your sibling also run the risk of it ruining your lives also . It would take me a very long time to explain to you just what it entails so I strongly advise you to look it up and learn . It is a addiction to people , when someone lets their own happiness or self-worth be dictated by how someone else feels about them . She most likely can not even imagine her life without him as sad as that may seem it is not going to change until she does it and that may never happen . I have been trying to reverse all the damage my parents addictions and codependency did to me and struggle daily with it . I even have found myself in the same kind of relationship , repeating the same sickness that destroyed my childhood . Get out and save yourself , that is your only hope .
