Does my dad have a right to do this?

My brother has a friend over and there outside riding my bros dirtbike and stuff. My dad came in the house screaming and hollering saying that my bros friend is just using my bro for the dirtbike and he told the guy to go home. This is my dads first time meeting the guy and I find he had no right to do that! It's embarressing... nd I felt so bad for him. My dad told me to go to hell because I said it wasn't right. And he's cursing at my mom and he kicked my dog in the face. & apparently my bro was making up lies? So now he's grounded or some shiit. I don't think he has any right to do this! Imagine how embarressing it was for that guy.... And it's not like my brother doesn't know him, they are friends at school. Am I wrong? Or is my dad wrong for doing this?
